My PFB didn't get invited to her preschool classmates birthday party - how will I she ever get over it? Would IBU to take her anyway? Surely she's entitled and I'll take her own food as they'll probably serve sandwiches with not proper ham, whole grapes and sugary cordial

Re DD's birthday party next month, I'm opting for a cake from Waitrose (yes I'm a SAHM but who has time to bake when there are manicures to get to?). Would IBU to ask for cash instead of presents on the invites - we have enough plastic tat in the house as it is and I could simply provide our bank details on the invite so it would be very convenient for everyone?
