to excessively beep my horn while driving?

I just got my horn fixed after a frustrating few months without one. Yesterday I counted three beeps, and that's not unusual. It's always when people have been dangerous (old fella cut me up at roundabout, brassy blonde in a chelsea tractor pulled out into road in front of me for eg) but not strictly necessary as I had seen them each time and was able to slow down. But it's so tempting to beep at people who make obvious and selfish/careless mistakes....

Am I a wanker?

I don't use my horn very often but i did so today, and admittedly beeped it more than i needed to.

i was coming down a dual carriage way, towards a roundabout and there is a car park on the left.
Someone sitting waiting to pull out onto the carriageway i assumed that they'd seen me as they waited. Only for the stupid twunt to pull out right in front of me just as i was approaching the junction of the car park. I had to break sharply and got a bit over eager with the horn in a "you stupid fucker kind of way". Blush

It was a knee jerk reaction, as it happened so quick and i got a bloody fright. If i hadn't already slowed down for the roundabout approach then i probably would have gone straight into him.

As long as you are not beeping for the sake of it, which it doesn't sound like you did then no, i dont think you are a wanker. Smile
