To feel completely scared at my age??!

I hate being alone.

I hate the dark. I even hate being in this house alone during the day!!

Sometimes the dog randomly barks and I don't think 'it's the wind', I go straight to 'it's a zombie / ghost / mass murderer / knife wielding psychopath'

I leave the washing up till DH comes home so I don't have to stand with the idea of someone looking through the window at me from the dark! (DH broke the blind!)

And I'm almost 30!

Anyone else??

I'm trying to work out why someone would talk to themselves on a forum about something so mundane.

I used to be like that when i was younger. If i heard a noise i had to check the cupboards and make sure the loft hatch was closed but i am fine now. I went to bed on wednesday night and kept hearing noises but couldnt be arsed to get up. When i went downstairs i had left the living room window wide open. Its one of those that spin round as well so the biggest of robbers/monsters could have got it. I also live on a council estate
