Give up a perfectly good job just because you are unhappy in it?

It's definitely time to start taking steps to leave, even if you don't quit it straight away.

Have you revamped your CV (maybe get a trusted friend who hires employees to look over it with you) and started applying for new jobs?

Get registered on all the job sites you can, there is actually a lot more out there than people think.

Just the act of seriously looking for another job can buy you that bit of light at the end of the tunnel which enables you to get through each day.

Do not give up your job without one to go to I know the fantasy of saying stuff your job and walking out with your head held high may well be becoming a irresistable one BUT waking up the next day with the prospects of having to go down the Jobcentre to try and get a job will soon bring you down to earth with a bump. You will not be entitled to any kind of benefit as you are intentionally jobless and in this climate the chance of getting another job without a employers reference is zero. I couldn't stand two of the queen bees I worked with in my last job but no way were they getting the better of me when I eventually got another job I had the great satisfaction of seeing their faces drop! Please don't run your life off the rails by leaving it is far easier to get a job when you have one. Always remember everywhere you work you will be faced with problems don't run away stand up for yourself. Good luck

If you quit you won't get the same benefits.

Feeling suicidal's way worse than being unemployed!
