to be shocked by the number of calories in my Graze box?

It's supposed to be a day's worth of snacks as far as I'm aware. I've just counted up the calories and it comes to about 2000! It's only four wee tubs of dried fruit and nuts. If I ate that on top of my meals I'd have had about 3500 cals. I know healthy/nutritious doesn't necessarily mean low calorie, but I think it's a lot, for snacks. AIBU?

Yes, I'm an idiot. I was looking at the kJ rather than cals Blush You'd think I'd know better, having counted calories for aaages.

I only have Graze boxes atm cos there was an offer to get the first box free and the next 2 half price. So 3.49 for 3 boxes isn't too bad. I'll be cancelling it once they're bac to full price.

No one is pushing you to buy Graze?? I personally love it!! The snacks are not for one day it's snacks for the week. I can't believe you guys thought you were supposed to eat the whole box in one day. As a personal trainer I have looked at the ingredients and they are good for you. Please don't eat the whole box in one day!!😂

LadyStarkOfWinterfell · 02/06/2016 06:45

Why shouldn't we eat a box in a day? As the previous posters realised they aren't that high in calories at all, 100-300 per pot and if you're having it as breakfast plus snacks you could easily eat it all over a day. Why not? If a whole box comes in at 800 calories that's perfectly fine for a meal and snacks.

I don't like graze boxes. Seems expensive and pointless. However I don't get the bitterness to those who do. How is it different to getting. Your supermarket shop delivered?

My friend used to get them. He runs a busy business and on his feet all day. He has coeliac and it was an easy way to get a variety of gluten free snacks. However they kept sending him stuff with gluten in so he cancelled. Ended up more hassle.

I did think you were working out wrong somewhere. However it's still not a days worth of snacks. Unless you are extremely active, you don't need all those snacks and meals on top.

People forget that just because food is decent in terms on nutrition, that doesn't mean it's low calorie. It really depends on what you are trying to achieve. It you are calorie counting, lots of these types of snacks can easy put you over. But they are decent so shouldn't be avoided and replaced with something that has no nutritional value.

I work in the fitness industry and so many people gorge on 'clean' snacks that use dates instead of sugar or coconut oil instead of vegetable oil, then wonder why they aren't losing weight. It's the huge downside of the 'clean eating' way of thinking.

As a personal trainer I have looked at the ingredients
