Well, am I? I think it's the biggest load of pants I have ever seen.

The article in the latest OPSM for Skyrim looks amazing. Damn these highly immersive games - take up too much of my life but do love 'em!

Morloth · 07/03/2011 21:25

I wish there was a new tombraider. I finally have a super hd tv and we play plants vs. Zombies! What a waste.

DH more of an Assassins Creed type.

Shepard · 07/03/2011 21:37

Morloth - should be a new Tomb Raider game coming out this year - looks pretty good too.

FabbyChic · 07/03/2011 21:39

Neggy my son uses the main TV.

ddubsgirl · 07/03/2011 21:40

ddubsgirl · 07/03/2011 21:41

me tho im a sims fan :)

Neggy · 07/03/2011 22:02

"Neggy my son uses the main TV."

Good. The best place for a child to play, in clear view. I was thinking of adults having their own screen.

Neggy · 07/03/2011 22:03

sorry assuming your son is a child.

mayorquimby · 07/03/2011 22:13

never got into and of the COD/MW jokes but FIFA is the way forward.

TeaOneSugar · 07/03/2011 22:41

DH is playing it now with his "clan", should be up shortly with my cup of tea though Wink

SmellsLikeTeenStrop · 07/03/2011 23:17

Oblivion was pants, sorry but after Morrowind it was a huge disappointment.

SmellsLikeTeenStrop · 07/03/2011 23:18

TeaOneSugar, I had to wait 10 minutes for a cup of tea because DH had just started a game. 10 minutes! I should think my need for tea is more important then his need to virtually shoot other people.

doubleshotlatte · 08/03/2011 13:00

DH and I came to an understanding a while back about this. He is allowed to play CoD on our 48" plasma late at night post-dinner at minimal volume. As long as he comes to bed by a decent time (early start for his job). He needs to de-stress and I need to get to bed early (heavily pregnant).

Besides I was once addicted to Tomb Raider Grin and Half-Life. And indulging him in this makes him very happy, making shopping for indulgent gifts for myself much less contentious...

We're both almost 40!

KnittedBreast · 08/03/2011 13:05

im a sims addict. before that black and white. i love the escapism!

TysonNobdie86 · 08/03/2011 13:09

YABU I am a woman and totally obsessed with CoD, although Modern Warfare 2 is much better than Black Ops Grin

Camerondiazepam · 08/03/2011 13:13

YankNCock, does your DH work away a lot? Only he sounds a lot like my DH, who works away a lot...

Niceguy2 · 08/03/2011 13:36

Speaking as a bloke, I understand why us men like to play COD. It fulfills our fantasies that had we not have met you and decided to live in marital bliss, we'd actually be a one man wrecking machine who's name would make John Rambo quake in fear.

Personally I don't get Corrie & Eastenders. I mean after 5 mins I want to literally poke my own eyes out with a spoon to make the pain stop.

YankNCock · 09/03/2011 15:49

Cameron Grin

Nope, he's here most every night, only the very occasional business trip.

Now if you told me your DH played blues ukulele too, I'd really start to get paranoid.

mumsgotatum · 09/03/2011 15:50

YANBU it's very odd....thank god DP not into computer games

JustaNickname · 09/03/2011 16:18

I used to feel the same then I started to Play Black ops a little bit. I found it incredibly addictive even thought I'm crap at it.

Malificence, I'm a Tomb Raider girl as well :D

Camerondiazepam · 09/03/2011 20:53

Blimey Yankn, I think I'd sooner he was living a secret double life than subjecting me to (shudder) blues ukulele Grin
