DS3 offered to pay to replace something he broke

by doing something he shouldn't

so I took him up on it

  • it is £40 to fix it - he has £120 saved towards an IPOD (birthday and pocket money)- he is money obsessed

he has been told not to mess around in this room before - he knew he was wrong

he should pay up shouldn't he

I agree with Ranty as well. I'm about as far from soft touch as you can get, but I think that's a good way of handling it.

He sounds lovely. I agree he should pay but perhaps as Ranty suggests hand over the final £20 to the Ipod fund.

I think you can be extremely proud of him-let him stew for a while then return half the money.

I do like the thought of paying the last £20 of the ipod cost as we've never bribed kids to pass exams or do housework before

I am proud of him - pissed off and proud

DS1 is ribbing him mercilessly though Smile
