to leave this ebay seller negative feedback?!

I buy and sell a lot on ebay and always charge a fair price on postage. I bought a bag the other day, seller said as it was heavy postage would be £9.50. It arrived recorded delivery today with no postage label (printed it herself online), I expected it to be heavy and it was pretty light so I put the weight into royal mail price calculator and came up as £3.50 postage..... I mailed the seller to say I was unhappy at being overcharged by £6, she said she's had it insured and teh packaging had cost her £2... I asked at my p/o while there dropping my own parcels off this afternoon and they said you can't actually get insurance on top of recorded delivery.. I'm really pissed off, mainly with the principal of it, I hate being lied to and hate being overcharged.

Why is everyone missing the bit where the seller said it was expensive because it was heavy but it wasn't? Confused

I would not leave negative feedback, but would give a low score for P&P charges.

She lied!

Leave a negative.

She might no do it again so you could save someone else money and hassle.

I can't stand liars!!

Hmmm...I always think that it's the way with ebay that people use postage as a 'sure thing' amount they'll get and so will charge more. It's ingrained in my head that that's the way it is so I always expect it.

That said max postage for a phone is £7 and I put mine as £5. No idea what it would have cost. I planned on posting it and decided that would cover it but DP ended up posting it through his business and they paid.

Oh and btw - if you knew in advance then fair play as far as I'm concerned in ordinary circumstances. BUT as she lied about it being heavy that would annoy me a lot!

just neg them, they lied and are behaving dishonestly. that's what feedback is for to reflect if you are happy with your buying experience or not, and clearly you're not so wont be right to leave a positive
