I've had to take DS2 to a party on Mother's Day. Really p*ssed me off I'm afraid.

This year I have to take DS2 (its always him!) to some cub outdoor activity.

Huh well actually it's MY special day as it's my birthday then and I would far rather have a nice slice of cake than a twee Mothers Day thang.

I don't see a problem with a party that day, it's so overblown.
