Dd2 is 17 months and has been ill with a chest infection.

On Friday night she was really unsettled and so I brought her in to my bed. Dh went and slept in the spare bed and I spent the night with dd crawling all over the bed so didn't get any sleep. At half 6 in the morning dh came and got her so I could sleep til which I did until about 10.

Last night we finally got her settled by midnight and we both went to bed too. I suffer with insomnia and couldn't sleep. It was after 3am by the time I finally drifted off. I then hot up with dd at 6 am and dh stayed in bed. At 9am I went to ask dh to take over because Im so knackered I'm fit for nothing. He was really pissed off with me for waking him up. He did get out of bed and banged and crashed about, and made a few horrible comments. So now of course im so fecking wound up I can't possibly sleep.

How often are we supposed to have smears now? I had a bit of bleeding years and years ago which turned out fine, but was told at the time to request a smear every year even if the nurse said i wasn't due one (just to be on the safe side). They all came back fine and since then I've had children so a smear after each one, but it's been about 2 years I think.

i have had cancerous cells, i had yearly smears for 12 years, that is the cut off for having had abnormalities detected. I was bloody Angry that it was reduced, especially as i don't get to have one, due to post code lottery for five years now!

Bleeding is mostly innocuous but of course needs checking.
