I wanted to nip out to get some milk, only a 3 min walk so good chance to get DS on the reins,

2 mins after leaving the house started snowing and DS wated to roll in it so I picked him up and walked, soon after the hat fight started I was trying to keep it on when an elderley neighbour came up her face was pretty sour, said 'you've brought him out in this weather?' I explained that is started after I left the house and wish I'd brought the pram,
to which she replied
"you ought to have done, make sure his ears are covered!' whilst I was clearly trying to keep his hat on against his protests.
then sternly said 'I won't keeper any longer than' !

felt quite shit after that and annoyed I mean I can't control sudden weather changes AIBU or she
