I had just finished laughing at the OP - especially the mother suicide bomber and her DH cowering in a corner, and was just about to poke fun at hwe "rather die than allow my children in a pub" line
when the thread went poooof.
Why?? What harm was it causing?
(I didn;t read any more so it may well have turned nasty but I'll never know now will I?)

Really Fabby Chic? Even if it's just for a meal in a child friendly pub that provides highchairs and boosters?

FabbyChic · 20/02/2011 23:15

If it is a child friendly pub with high chairs and boosters then no reason not to go in there. But going in a pub that is genenerally not for children is just plain wrong.

Child friendly pubs are one thing and obviously welcome families, so no harm done. There is one near me and its always full on a sunday with families. But if it is generally for adults and I have seen this and you get the odd single parent with her kids in a pushchair and no other kids, to me it is just plain wrong.

Please can I offer small advice?

If you are still reading on pages, customise to "all on one page" or whatever it's called.

Then you'll get the whole thread to read through!!

ChaosTrulyReigns · 20/02/2011 23:16

But obviously you''ll only have the post upto the moment you clicked.

It's not magical advice.

I only do that on Thursdays.

bupcakesandcunting · 20/02/2011 23:16

Yeah, them single mums taking their kids out. They want flogging...

StealthPolarBear · 20/02/2011 23:19

Chaos I do that
stupidly though I chose to post straight after reading the OP to laugh at her rather die comment
Next time I will open a new window to do that

Oh I agree with that I don't take ds into non child friendly pubs for lunch.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 20/02/2011 23:20

Sound advice.

I thought all pubs were "family pubs" at Sunday lunchtime. Certainly are round my way.
