I mean, is there anyone who understands the reference?

Is there?

Mine would only be funny and clever if I wasn't from Durham. I am, so it's just a v obvious name!!

Huffymuffy · 16/02/2011 19:32

should have spelt it "mummi" then.

ZZZenAgain · 16/02/2011 19:32

actually it means stuff all tbh but thanks for assuming I put some thought into it!

I didn't grow up with gummi bears so I would never have guessed the background. Probably will not forget it now though°!

AintMissBeehiving · 16/02/2011 19:32

Where Gabby Loggon? He'll make sense of all this Confused

ZZZenAgain · 16/02/2011 19:32

mind you I post like I'm sleep deprived so that makes quite a bit of sense actually

MummyBerryJuice · 16/02/2011 19:32

Exactly my point Quincy Smile sometimes it is easy to forget that despite the similarities the world I grew up in was vastly different to this one.

OP posts:
ZZZenAgain · 16/02/2011 19:33

where did you grow up?

CrispyCakeHead · 16/02/2011 19:33

CrispyCakeHead is the name of Humf's favourite cuddly toy in the Nick Jr kiddies show. It's square and has a head like a crispy cake....go figure Grin

Binfullofmaggotsonthe45 · 16/02/2011 19:34

Was it...Care bear world?

Sorry op I am getting a bit lost......

MmeLindt · 16/02/2011 19:34

Ah, get it now.

For me Gummibears are the Haribo sweets - spent too long in Germany I guess.

ZZZenAgain · 16/02/2011 19:34

GwendolineMaryLacey · 16/02/2011 19:35

Aren't gummi bears those haribo things? I'm lost.

ZZZenAgain · 16/02/2011 19:35

no no you are well lost.

QuincyMincemeat · 16/02/2011 19:35

is gummi bears a cartoon in SA MBJ? or is it just from an advert?

MummyBerryJuice · 16/02/2011 19:37

South Africa - but it is an American 80's cartoon we had over there.

Gummi bears
Bouncing here and there and everywhere
High adventures that's beyond compare
They' are the Gummi Bears

Makes me Grin just thinking about it.

SparklyVulva · 16/02/2011 19:40

LadyOfTheManor · 16/02/2011 19:43

Oh I thought I was onto something with the vajazzling! Damn it all to buggery. I'm crap at this stupid "guess the meaning of my name" game.

Binfullofmaggotsonthe45 · 16/02/2011 19:45

It's the sister of Edward from twilight and her sparkly vampire bits eh?

MummyBerryJuice · 16/02/2011 19:45

I suppose that way got me thinking is that here are so many names on here that obviously mean something that I just don't get. The main reason for it is that I'm slightly dim, but I was just wondering if there was at least some element of not having that immediate, intrinsc understanding that one gets from having a pace as part of your being, IYKWIM?
