Ug, Everyone is posting pictures of their flowers and Ive got nothing.

We are snuggling up with a roast and a film. No cards no flowers it's all silly commercialism.

Agree twinkle. It might be commercialism but it doesn't cost a lot to buy a card and for another day this year I feel special, all I have to do is look special for tonights meal. NO KIDS -Heaven

Didnt get any roses, but dh did paint our bedroom on his day off, which has made me very happy!

Well I got nothing today. But I got him nothing either. Sent him an email which he couldn't open!

He did get me some perfume coming through Duty Free and he gave it to me on Saturday to celebrate 23 years from our first shag date.

Bless. Actually I think it is probably the first time he has ever bought me perfume.

Pfft, I got him a card, and I made red cupcakes and iced hearts onto them. And considering he only got me six roses, I'm being spectacularly nice to him. What more can a guy want?

I'm the girl ffs! And he had plenty of warning that I'm high maintenance before we got married! Grin

so far today my DH has got up then gone back to bed cos hes got the headache, then my daughter rang shes at college doing hairdressing needed a model so yep mom went and when i got home he didnt even notice i have very blonde highlights all over my hair, comment i got when i came in " the bloody internets gone off uh what you done to your hair " but i did get a box of roses choccies and being as he has aspergers he didnt do too bad lol

curly - I would say that you are both people, and you both might want spoiling. You made an effort with your cupcakes, but I think you are being massively spoiled about the roses, complaining.

We don't generally do Valentine's Day and even if we did, I wouldn't want flowers. That's just one more thing I have to keep alive. Pass.

DH always does well for my birthday, mother's day, our anniversary and Christmas. I usually get a spa day, a big gift card for either clothes or book shopping.

Seriously... people are putting pictures of their flowers up? How tacky and lame! They might as well replace the picture with a sign in 100 point block capitals saying "LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME I AM SO GREAT"

i got my dp a card and a silly heat reactive mug that said "DP I LOVE YOU" Brewand i cooked him a roast. apparently my card was delayed in the post... Hmm

it's still delayed. i think he forgot.
