two DCs down, second one is now 14m old and I have totally forgotten what its like to feel sexy or want sex with DH without a million excuses and reasons 'why not' popping into my head and the longer it goes on the harder it is to casually break the ice

I am very aware its valentines and so after the lovely steak dinner my hubby cooks me tonight am i being unreasonable to feel a lot of pressure to put out tonight when I am worry about it because after a stressful day with the kids and not even having had time for a shower (although time to MN natch!) I wont be in the mood?!?!?!

Dont worry - if its been that long since your last session he will pop after a couple of minutes!!!!

MissyKLo · 14/02/2011 14:52

Lovin' fabbychic's reasoning that 'if you have time to shit you have time to shower'
Very true!

OhForBoonessSake · 14/02/2011 14:53

what if you need a shit and a shower and you only have time for one, not both? Confused

temporarystate · 14/02/2011 15:02

Hey good news! Sorry for TMI here BUT just went for my shower and DH came home early, came to find where I was and, well, lets just say Feb 2011 and counting ;0)

quitescared · 14/02/2011 15:10

Was about to add message saying that I was so pleased to see your post as it made me feel less of a sex-less freak...but then I keep reading and find out your famine is over!!!

JUST SO TIRED!!!! As soon as little people asleep, I want to sleep. Also suffering with that thing that I feel breasts are now somewhat owned by baby so seems strange for them to be sexual objects!

You had better still get the steak!

Tical · 14/02/2011 15:21

If I were you I wouldn't hand around waiting to feel pressurised. Eat your dinner, jump in the shower and then initiate sex yourself. Five months of no sex - very long time and bad habit to get into. If you let the long list of reasons 'why not' dominate you will never do it again!

Do it and who knows, you might even enjoy it Smile.

Tical · 14/02/2011 15:22

oooh, sorry! Just saw your post. Excellent news.

cheekeymonkey · 14/02/2011 15:44

Oh, to have a dh that wants to!!!!!

EricNorthmansMistress · 14/02/2011 17:43

Yay! and to quitescared sex can take under 15 minutes and still be great, and get a nice bra/cami to make your boobs a visual rather than tactile feature!

MissyKLo · 14/02/2011 18:29

Oh you gotta live MN! Only here could you get this!

MissyKLo · 14/02/2011 18:30

Love I meant!

LoveBeingADaddysGirl · 14/02/2011 18:35

Go girl, seeing as you seemed to enjoy it you could always surprise him after dinner as well Wink

Limara · 14/02/2011 18:46

Well done OP.

cazza40 · 14/02/2011 20:39

Just get on with it ! You will feel much better.

cazza40 · 14/02/2011 20:42

Just seen that you went for it ... Well done bet you're feeling pretty good now

CinnabarRed · 14/02/2011 20:48

Excellent!

I've also had my own revelation reading this thread - for years I've assumed that DTD was the acronym for Dear Twin Daughters - now I know that it's Do The Deed an awful lot of threads that were confusing me now make sense.
