I can't get away from them! Soooooo many threads on here seem to centre around somebody being offended about something; and it's usually nothing to get bothered about IMO.

Why have we all turned Victorian? What is so shocking about somebody having a heated argument on tv; seeing somebody with not many clothes on (but all the dodgy bits covered); letting our children play dressing up; etc, etc, etc???

I could go on as it seems like every other thread on here in AIBU in particular centres on somebody being 'offended'. And I'm sick of it! Get a life, stop being so fecking Mary Whitehouse-esque, and don't look/do something else if you don't like it! What's happened to freedom of expression??

Aaaahhhh!

Ooh can I just hijack my own thread to say I'm actually quite excited that this is at the top of the 'most active thread' list?

Don't be offended by my saddo-ness.

By all means be offended but stay calm and take logical action.

Not to be offended by anything to to be unconscious, pre-born or dead.

Beware someone might call an undertaker.

Junebugjr you are so right. The one that really pisses me off is "AIBU for being offended that someone asked if my baby was good. I mean, what is a bad baby exactly?"

FFS, gouge my eyes out now.

Chil1234 · 14/02/2011 15:08

They actually said the 'good baby' thing on the Archers the other night. LOL! I could feel the mass hackles of MN baby-owners rising in unison as the metaphorical torches and pitchforks headed for Ambridge....

I feel like posting a link to that advert with the animated creature who says, 'Who cares?'

I see 'I'm offended' and often think, 'So?'

OP YADDDDNBU!!

I sure do get sick of people being precious and whingey about bloody stupid things. You can often tell from my posts when I'm starting to get annoyed as they become much less tactful Grin

PS as a side note, I've figured it out! Gabby is playing the predictive text game where you type in the first word that comes up when you use predictive text (Wink only joking Gabby, you make sense to me most of the time)
