WHY OH WHYEEEE CAN'T I FIND A DECENT HAIRDRESSER IN NORTHAMPTON!

I live in Northampton and I just cannot find a hairdresser who 'gets' my hair (which is long, stupidly frizzy and curlyish)

I want it blowdried straight or styled into soft waves but since my regular hairdresser moved away (SOB) I just cannot find a decent hairdresser who will take the time and put in the effort to do my hair!

I am desparate! Pleaseeeeeeeeee

Does anyone know a good, passionate hairdresser in Northampton who can turn my frizzy mop into a wonderful straight, sleek curtain of loveliness?

I HATE MY STUPID HAIR! AND THE CRAP HAIRDRESSERS I ALWAYS SEEM TO FIND!!!!!!!!!!!

Sad

Richardsons? In the town centre? They won a national award I think :D

I don't like richardsons...

I tried them on a couple of different occasions and soecifcally asked them to give me a consultation and appointment with someone who could 'get' my hair but they never did and also found it a bit 'up it's own arse in there'!

Thanks for all the recommendations - I need somewhere central so will try baa baa's maybe :)

Get message? We may be too rural!

Have messaged you! Thank you :)

The visitor - where did you escape to? I'm not from here originally - it's ooooook, not that great!

I moved up to North Derbyshire, right at the tip of the peaks. I did live first in St James, and then slap bang in the middle of Kings Heath. Hated it with a passion. I'm now somewhere with a high street that has no shopping mall, no arcades and our pound shops are two independents. Grin I'm still thinking which hairdressers I used. St Giles Street, to the right, little passageway, blokes bit is on the corner, still on St Giles and the women's is at the back of the shop, opposite the little cafe. I have thick, curly hair and they were good with mine.

My partner goes there, and highly rates them.

I'm very fussy when it comes to having my hair cut. Usually the MIL does it but due to a shoulder injury cannot do it any more. I went to Elliott Reeve in the favell centre and Marie did it for me exactly how i wanted it.
