to be pissed off at DS's future primary school already?

Enrolment week this week. Get it? This week. So why does DS's nursery teacher have a go at DH because he didn't stay there on Monday morning and fill out the enrolment form there and then when it was given to him along with the very poorly produced "prospectus"? And again today because we didn't return an acknowledgement slip of the school placement notification absolutely immediately?

Is it the norm for schools to treat the parents like children? And to be totally disorganised, totally unreasonable, and expect parents to drop everything at the school's whim?

If we had another choice we'd be thinking twice about this school after the last couple of days. Angry

Grin I definitely don't want to get a reputation! I guess I just don't have too much confidence in a school that doesn't understand that a "week" includes 5 school days.

YANBU I completely see your point.

cat64 - DH was merely dropping DS off at nursery! The pack was given to him as he left by the nursery teacher, he took it away for us to read and fill in. He was given the weekly newsletter at the same time which said make an appointment to enrol!

The prospectus was a minor point, but the page numbers are all wrong, it's got captions missing photos and clearly hasn't been proof read.
