Are you sure about the spelling? I think maybe the next bit is "our day will come" but no idea about drochbheasach.

Do I want to know where this is from?

am confused by the second bit - drochbheasach means rude/bad mannered

tiocfaidh - is the future tense of the verb to come

ar = on or our depending on the context

ta - no idea ...
unless what was meant was Tiocfaidh ár lá which literally means "our day will come", ach sin scéal eile...

I assure you, while 'éist do bheal does literally mean listen-your-mouth - it is definitely taken to mean "shut your mouth" - possibly it is a truncated version of listen and shut your mouth ?

I haven't see 'ar ta' at end of a sentence before. Is that Ulster Irish?

Should there be a full stop after the drochbheasach?

E.g.

Shut up! Rude. Our day will come.

Éist do bhéal! = Shutup

Drochbhéasach = Bad-mannered

Tiocfaidh ar ta!
(Should be 'Tiocfaidh ár lá' = Our day will come - i.e. NI will be reunited with the Republic)

actually I think its "shut up, thats rude, your time will come" (as in your time to speak). Its missing at least some punctuation.

Nah, 'Tiocfaidh ár lá' is all over Belfast gable ends. 'Tiocfaidh do lá' for 'wait for your day' would be unlikely.

'Fan do chás' would be 'wait for your turn'. Or 'Fan go fóill' - 'hold on'.

See, it could mean, 'do you mind not interruping while I'm talking'......
