arrghhh DD1 was off sick yesterday - spent the day with Nanny (after I took 2hrs TOIL first thing) came home fine - had a good old fight with her middle sister etc

at 1am woke up and pukes everywhere - twice

no one to have her today - ex husband is away - I have had to take my last (saved up for a childfree day to myself) day of Anuual Leave and blacken my name at work (I was on duty today which my mate will have to cover)

so why is she being a pain and bothering me

and she very kindly gave me her tummy bug - which was nice

Ahhhh Gordy know how ya feel. If only all emplyers and the current situation in this country all had the same attitude as tastetherainbow then we would all be ok and not have the guilt trips and sarcastic remarks when we go back into work, it really does not matter what your reason is usually Wink

When my daughter was two I took her to the GP because she had the runs (all over ANC floor and the MW sent me straight there) whilst we were there she threw up all over the waiting room floor. But she carried on running around and playing on the slide. We were called and the GP had a prod of her tummy. She said "Her tummy is fine but she's breathing a little fast" to cut a long story short, it took three days of constant nebs to come out of that asthma attack.

A few months later she was seen by an emergency GP who thought after the first dose of nebs that she was OK as she was running around, he was surprised at her sats and went on it again. We were chatting about it and he told me he never judges a child on their behaviour as his own child had been exactly the same, charging around and having fun then had a cardiac arrest.

A couple of weeks ago she had an ear infection and perforated her ear drum. I'm not sure I believe them because the volume coming out of her doesn't suggest a child in ear pain!!!

Children rarely have the decency to behave like they're ill.
