To think some celebs fib about the dress size they are so "proud" of?

It doesn't keep me awake at night, don't worry.

But I was just watching some Adele videos and came across an interview with her in which she said she was a size 14-16 and "proud" of it.

I love her, I love her curviness, I think she looks great, I think she wears great clothes and dresses for her bodyshape really well.

But I equally keep looking at her and thinking she's never even a size 16? More like an 18 or more?

Or does she really look a size 14-16 and is it my eyes and I'm being unreasonable?

Not that it's anyone's business, but I think if you're proud of your size, be honest about it.

The thing I really hate is those magazine "fridge raider" or "what I ate today" articles. According to these all female celebs eat as follows

• Breakfast: spelt porridge with blueberries and green tea
• Lunch- carrot sticks and organic humous

-Dinner- grilled salmon and steamed vegetables

In fact, it was probably more like this

• breakfast- what's that?

-lunch- coffee and a handful of benzos -dinner- bottle of Krug and a gram of charlie

Whatever size she is she is bloody gorgeous and very talented. Absolutley love her name also!!

I think we have become so accustomed to seeing people who are size 6 and 8s on tv and in magazines that anyone bigger seems very large.

Look at Sarah Brown with Natasha thingy and Kay Burley.

Sarah Brown is prob 12/14 - she looks huge compared to the other two.

I reckon Adele is probably a 16.

I totally agree bagged. I never believe those 'what I ate today' articles. They all seem to have steamed fish and rice for dinner and never even mention alcohol unless it's a 'small glass of white wine' at the weekend.

I think it depends what shop they mean. I can be anything from a 10 to an 18!

bibbity I saw that picture of Sarah Brown the other day and felt quite sorry for her, being made to stand next to those two for a photo must have royally ruined her day.

I don't understand the point of lying about your dress size.

It doesn't make you look slimmer.

People still look at you and see your actual body.

Saying you are a 12 when you are actually a 16 doesn't make you look like a 12.

I'm just waiting for someone to come on and say marilyn monroe was a size 24 and then someone else to argue the point that actually she was a 6 and how a size 10 now a days is actually an old day giant size 34 and we'd all have to live indoors and never go out again because we'd be obese freaks who eat farm animals whole.

It's very sad that ANYONE has to lie about their size and that basically if you're "fat" then you're less of a human being than someone who has ribs like a toastrack and thereforedeserve to be spat at in the street by the weight obsessed media, because it's really THEM who have manipulated everyone into believing that this is true!
