In thinking nobody uses those little straps they put on shirts/tops ?

The silly little ones inside the shirt to help it on the hanger....does anyone actually use those annoying things?

those things are one of my pet hates - they are only sewn in to keep things on the hangers in transit - also the tacked X at the bottom of box pleats; the pockets tacked shut. some people (not any of yous, obviously) have had jackets for years with functioning pockets that they don't know they have. until I rip them open (with permission of course). i'm tempted to keep a pair of sissors on me to cut off those horrible things (yes i DO keep them in my Haberdashery Drawer - they're good for tags on the end of zips), also to snip those Xs off people's skirts/coats on the tube.

I call them "worms" and always cut them out and throw them away immediately, vaguely thinking - wouldn't it be nice to save them all and make something magnificently creative........

I leave them on wide necked heavy fabric clothes as they slip off the hanger otherwise.

Sometimes I tuck them inside my bra straps to stop certain wide necked tops slipping off my shoulders.

I always use them to hang clothes up but I am unnaturally OCD tidy

I also tuck them into bra straps to hide them.

If the top has a wide neck or is particularly slippery I use them (cross them over the top of the hanger) if not I cut them out.
