I moved a week ago and I am astounded by the changes in DS1.

The day we moved in, he unpacked and made his and DS2's beds without being asked.

He has loaded the dishwasher EVERY day without being asked.

He has showered every day barr one (i wouldn't let him as he has an ear infection and tonsilitis and was crying in pain)

He has NOT screamed once! although he has been tetchy.

He has eaten all his dinner without a fuss

He has been a pleasure to be around and for the first time in a long time spent more than 2 minutes in the living room.

He has really changed - ok I know that it probably won't be permanent BUT I am so happy with this last week.

Also we got a dx and he has high functioning aspergers - now to learn how to help him and I cope with the tetchy moments.

TLE - just for your information, your privacy settings allow me to see pants pictures. Actually I find small boys in pants very hilarious, especially with guns stuck in them, but thought you'd like that information

I was always on edge in the old place as well.
It was a big flat as in the rooms were big and it was long but it never felt like a home to me.
I am so much more relaxed here

forgive my ignorance but that is a phone yes?

he is a lucky boy. i think that is sufficient with the over-boardness (sp?) i think as long as he is getting a wee nod of the head or smiel when you see him doing the good stuff, it will keep him on the right track.

there is alot to be said for how a house feels.

Yes it is a phone and a very good one as well....I couldn't not get one for myself now could I!!!!
