To tell dh to shut up about Nick Knowles!

Dh popped out at 4, ds (11) and I were watching diy SOS at 8 and enjoying it! Dh came back at 8:30 and saw what we were watching and started moaning about Nick Knowles, saying he was arrogant, a twat etc... I told him we were enjoying the programme and didn't watch it for nick but dh kept moaning and asked if we could turn over to watch the NTA on itv... Ds went up to watch the end of diy SOS in his room and I set the sky to record it -then turned over, dh sat down and we wAtched the NTA, I found it dull so went up for a bath at 9... Ds went to sleep at 9 too..

Anyway, came back down and asked if much had happened, apparently not... Noticed on twitter that lily Allen had stopped watching it and was watching Diy SOS! Mentioned it to dh who launched into another rant about nick Knowles! I told him to shut up going on as I was fed up and reiterated that I liked the concept of the show! Dh said I was picking nick Knowles over him and has stormed off to bed!

Aibu to have told dh to shut up??

I quite like Nick K despite myself.

And I watched that programme in floods last night (DIY SOS).

And I have now got a bit of a crush on Laurence Llewellyn Bowen. Now that aint right.

Someone I worked with once dated him and she said he wasn't very nice.

I watched it with a box of kleenex too. I love Julia? the designer. She is incredibly talented and incredibly ditzy at the same time, yet still manages to get her own way in a male dominated trade/ programme.

I once sat next to Nick Knowles on a tube train. He was wearing a "shot silk" blue suit and very pointed black shoes. Not a paint splash to be seen.

I also have a soft spot for LLB. Mainly because he can paint in those poncey clothes and not get paint all over them. He also seems to be able to take the piss out of himself.
