in banging my neighbours wall?

I live in a terraced house and for the last couple of days, DS7 has woken up because 'someone is banging his wall'.

I could hear the banging from downstairs but thought that maybe my neighbour was doing some DIY but oh no, its proper bed banging!

They are at it again right now (can last for 20mins and can be up to 4 times a night!).

Its disturbing my son and i feel like banging my side of the wall(with fists) to shush them up?

WWYD? Do i knock and ask them to move their bed?

Yes indeed choc Blush

I had more than one note, which I found waaay more hostile than if they'd just banged on the wall.

Mind you, my neighbours had the last laugh when I got knocked up and the only banging to be heard was me losing my centre of gravity and falling off the sofa Grin

Boo - 8 times, you lucky girl!

sayin that, i hope my bed doesnt bang on the wall of my elderly neighbour!

off to check for any notes]]

lucky was the first few times after that it was a bet to see how many times, and i hate losing. i have to say, i think he was always going to be the winner regardless of how many times we managed Hmm

I purposely didn't put my bed against the dividing wall as the bloke next door is a dirty old pervert and would have been listening. Hmm

Boo Much respect Grin

I would perhaps take a 'moving in' present for the new GF. And talk to her. Maybe just say 'I don't know how you stand him doing so much DIY. The banging bothers me and I don't live there' Wink

I'm with Aims80. Be straightforward.

And, like Tether, I think notes suck.

IAmTheCookieMonster · 27/01/2011 20:00

actually yeah, i think if your DH goes round and says something to him 'man to man' it should be fine.

chocecclair · 27/01/2011 21:13

DH had a word with him this morning and apparently the guy was a bit embarrased! He will move his bed!
