To be really annoyed with mumsnet

Every bloody night for the last week I have been trying to have an early night.
But no, mumsnet has me hooked every night. Invariably end up crying at something.
Am I ever going to get anything done ever again?!!!

Sleep? Sleep? Who needs sleep?

Rhinestone · 26/01/2011 00:52

I actually said to someone today that I went to quite a few stately homes as a child. They took me literally! Obviously not an MNer!!!

ItsGraceAgain · 26/01/2011 00:52

I like that one, Rhinestone Wink

missjulie · 26/01/2011 00:52

Ye - yes, i should, but DD is shouting and blowing bubbles, and having a right carry on in her cot, so need to wait for her to fall asleep....soon, i hope!!!!

Rhinestone · 26/01/2011 00:53

I think it will be my special code in future! A bit like a Masonic greeting!

Katey1010 · 26/01/2011 01:08

And, I want to be able to do Hmm in RL. And, I think DH is at the end of his tether because today he said, as I was explaining, "I know what a Pombear is" [bbear]

giyadas · 26/01/2011 01:13

DP keeps quiet about MN. I think he's scared of what I might post about him.

solo · 26/01/2011 09:46

Apocolypse, it's the 'Royal blue Box' doncha know and we are the AIBU? subjects Wink

Summerbird73 · 26/01/2011 09:52

My colleague who is a mamma hasnt even heard of pombears! Def not a MNer, i felt all disappointed that we weren't in a 'club'

I also now look at people like Hmm

I left MN for a few months last year as i took a break from 'social networking' but like all addictions i was back soon enough!

redrollers · 26/01/2011 11:41

I think I might of met a mumsnetter at a childrens party the other week.
She loudly announced that her DS doesnt normally have fruit shoots.
Soooo wanted to start offering round pom bears or something.

blackeyedsusan · 26/01/2011 12:27

snap

Mumsnet is keeping me sane, (but tired)

Summerbird73 · 26/01/2011 12:41

amazing i actually did this: Hmm at a mum in a soft play area for buying 3 bottles of fruit shoots... i told myself off after for doing the judgey pants face (thank god she didnt see me!)

redrollers · 26/01/2011 12:43

amazing, I used to be very vocal about fruit shoots, before I knew MN didn't like them. I'm actually a bit quieter about them now!!

plupervert · 26/01/2011 22:55

I love Procrastinet! Lovely neologism. Grin

Shodan · 26/01/2011 22:57

I suspect I may have met a fellow MNer- I remarked to some mums at ds2's pre-school that I thought toddler groups were the Devil's work. One chuckled and gave me a look. The others gave me a mixture of these - Shock Hmm and Confused.

MsKLo · 26/01/2011 23:01

Glad to hear I am not the only one!

God we are addicts...

Summerbird73 · 27/01/2011 14:57

He will be no trouble - just chuck him a fruit shoot and some pombears and let him watch a bit of tv Grin
