I stopped watching The Archers after they needlessly killed off Nigel and now they've done away with Harry in Silent Witness. I know the programme is unbelievable crap and real pathologists don't go around having affairs with dead people's relatives and pretending to be policemen, but Harry was quite tasty and there's not much else on.

Oh my God Nigel has died!!!!! I haven't listened to the Archers for a couple of weeks and they've killed Nigel.
Ohhh do all the archer children kill off their mates, Shula on to husband no 2 aswell.

Its on of the few series where being dead doesn't really put the actor out of a job. They've got freezer-storage, haven't they? He can be on the slab for a good few episodes yet, admittedly a little less sexy and lovely and understanding.

I didn't know that Gloria, how vexing. I think R4 should commission a new series to employ Nigel, recounting his adventures in the afterlife.
