lostinwales we did the spreadsheet thing with DS1 - I still keep a record with DS3, just not with Excel Grin

Calm down, dear! The term has nothing to do with the level of actual love and care given to any of your children, but instead refers to irrational and hysterical behaviour unique to new parents.

It's can be used on here like pointing out spelling mistakes to try make the poster feel they know nothing.

I've been on the receiving end of that one, just made me think I must be right if they're resorting to trying to put me down Smile

It's not a description of the child so much as a description of the parents behaviour.

They don't love or care about siblings any less.

It's funny and self depracating provided you don't take it too seriously.

doesn't really bother me, and i was a lot more uptight with my first in all respects so probably a pretty good lable for me.
