You only need to to read ILikeMilk's post from earlier in the week (about hating living up north) to understand why she might stick up for Gwyneth et al!

stillbobbysgirl · 14/01/2011 21:23

its just soooo ridiculous, all these women have a woman to mind the kids, a woman to clean the house, a woman to book flights and look after their clothes, probably another woman to make all their business appointments etc ...

all this activity and yet their lives sound so bloody boring

AND Gwinnie has to sleep with Chris Martin

MsKLo · 14/01/2011 21:25

lol at the chris martin ref!

I second the person who said if I had that much money, I'd pay someone else to do the cooking. Cook and cleaner all the way.

"Best friends: Gwyneth and Stella have been friends for years and regularly have dinner"

I have dinner every night ...

nannyj · 14/01/2011 21:31

It must be very hard to look after your two children when you have nannies that work 24/7. I feel so sorry for Gwyneth Wink

MatureUniStudent · 14/01/2011 21:37

re the trying on clothes (and apologies to all those MNT's who know the celebs concerned) did she get BO because Moses was in the shopping trolley outside the changing room door a la Tesco/Asda/Sainsburys and the four year old Apple was throwing a strop because you wouldn't let her run around the shop because you were selfishly trying on a teeshirt/dress (ha ha Ok the dress bit pushed it - mum of two toddlers jeans and teeshirts uniform). Was the BO the paniced stress of "I hope no one nicks my child in the trolley outside the door whilst I attempt to buy a new top" BO or was it the BO of the dreadful pressure of trying on the myriad of clothes attended to by designers with champers/sparkling water etc whilst someone else looked after the children? I would love to have that clarified...

TheCrackFox · 14/01/2011 21:41

If Stella and Gwynnie are best friends does this mean they have bot fallen out with Madonna?

Shewhoshallnotbenamed · 14/01/2011 21:51

re playing with my hair - just the utter slummy-mummy-ness of the child labour regime I have going on here.

(I love when DD plays hairdresser with my hair - but she didn't want to this eve so I said "I'll give you 50p and she did - bargain!)

Couldn't give a fig about celebs, just annoys me when they try to tell us minions how to live our lives, I'm doing just fine without your advice thanks.

Don't get me started on that Nigella Lawson....I actually seethe if she appears on my tv screen.

Sossiges · 14/01/2011 21:58

Beautiful feet but what's with all the weird multi-sexual names? My mum had a hard enough time remembering our names and they were pretty straightforward. I can just see her going: Ricketts or Millet or whatever your name is - just get to bed - now.

Borisismyhousespider · 14/01/2011 22:04

Mung bean spaghetti, oh you had me howling at that one Toeragsnotriches Grin

Normantebbit · 14/01/2011 22:17

I wonder if Stella and Gwynnie ever have days like mine:

" 7am. Try to identify horrid smell in girls bedroom. Eventually locate several books covered in shit, strewn on the floor. Girls will not own up. Even DP denies all knowledge."

Don't think so somehow.

Sossiges · 14/01/2011 22:48

Normantebbit rofl that would have to be seriously edited before it made it into the blog
