Someone once told my dh he looked like the young elton john. Still makes me laugh. As if the 'the young' part was meant ot be flattering.

He was born in Beirut iirc, but brought up in Canada. He's lush in Speed (which I saw the night before I went away to uni), and in Something's Gotta Give - god he's beautiful in that! There was a rumour he was dating Diane Keaton while that was being filmed.

I think he looks a bit dirty - in a good way Wink

Gosh! Gay? No.

He's had such tragedy in his life, he and his girlfriend lost their baby in a late miscarriage.

She then became depressed and committed suicide by causing an RTA (only she was involved and only she died) iirc.

So sad.

He's so beautiful....

I remember that MarniesMummy Sad. Wasn't there a film he worked on that was cursed with illness and tragedy too? Can't recall what it is now though. He was also very good friends with River Phoenix. Poor bloke has had some shit to deal with.

I wouldn't mind comforting him though Wink

Yes, he was a friend of River Phoenix and often remembers him in his interviews, which I think is lovely.

I'd forgotten about My Own Private Idaho, I remember watching that when it came to video and I was totally amazed by how fantastic a film it was (having previously seen such films as Dirty Dancing/Star Wars/Mary Poppins). I need to re-watch it - wonder where I'll get it from
