Some very Grrrrrrr Arrrrrghhhh! threads abounding tonight, mostly about boobs.

Basically there is nowhere I can complain that Argos have taken the item I wanted to buy and put it in clearance ....yay!

At £50 more than the previously listed price Confused Hmm

Anyone else want to come and complain about the little things?

mommmmyof2 · 13/01/2011 23:06

No that is why i got a bit Confused but now I realise you meant your washing machine so it makes more sense to me now Smile

TickettyBoo · 13/01/2011 23:06

Mmm what am I pissed off about....the fact that someone has posted about jammy dodgers and now I want one (not one dodger, a whole packet silly)...although they aren't as nice as they used to be (but that's another gripe for another day!) lol :)

mommmmyof2 · 13/01/2011 23:07

No they cut down on the jam, not good

Honeydragon · 13/01/2011 23:10

dementedma · 13/01/2011 23:12

it's my birthday tomorrow and we have no money as DH just told likely to be made redundant so no pressies or nice meal or probably anything. Sad

mommmmyof2 · 13/01/2011 23:14

That is more than a little whine! Happy Birthday for tomorrow and I hope he not made redundant.

Honeydragon · 13/01/2011 23:16

Sad dementedma, no excuses still try and have a nice day, when will your dh find out either way?

OP posts:
mommmmyof2 · 13/01/2011 23:20

well off to do my ironing Hmm but try have a nice day tomorrow dementedma, maybe you can have a late birthday meal out but try not to worry about something that may not happen yet
:)

FiveOrangePips · 13/01/2011 23:29

tethers, did you try cooking it again? Could it be salvaged/re-named as squidgey-warm-melting-chocolate slice type thing*?

*you would have to re-heat it and serve it straight away instead of going back for several slices... but getting a serious chocolate hit would be worth it, non?

tethersend · 13/01/2011 23:34

If I had meant to make a chocolate fondant/melty pudding thing, it would be the most perfect one Grin

I haven't but am seriously considering putting it back in the oven for a bit- however, it's 3+ hours since I took it out.

Then again, when it's fucked it's fucked I suppose? I mean, it's not like I could fuck it up any more, is it?

Honeydragon · 13/01/2011 23:40

What about microwaving it? It might firm up in the middle like sponge puddings do, but not dry out the edge?

OP posts:
tethersend · 13/01/2011 23:44

oooh, would that work?

I'll have to try and get it out of the metal tin, though...

Honeydragon · 13/01/2011 23:47

Not certain, I've resurrected a sponge cake to edible that way before, but the worst case scenario is warm chocolate mess.

Or just cut off the acceptable bits and make brownie sundaes for pudding tomorrow.

OP posts:
FiveOrangePips · 13/01/2011 23:49

Well, I would say you haven't failed to make brownies, but you have invented a v.successful* all new dessertGrin

btw as a complete aside from my enquiry I think some of YAb completely U because (for example) no sleep for 18 months is not a minor complaint!!! and being exhausted is quite major imvho and not to mention the cake so lovingly made, really, that is just not a little thing!

Happy Birthday Dementedma, I hope you get a little present from family/friends

(my dh has forgotten my impending birthday, and I CBA telling him, but I know my family and good friends have remembered and I do have a present to look forward to and lunch with friends)
