My friend has posted a Facebook update that I think is a bit strange.

I know that the correct way of dealing this is to post it on an internet forum for a bunch of strangers to dissect and criticise, but I was thinking of, you know, just commenting directly.

AIBU to break the mould?

Whooaah slow down there!! Don't be hasty...think it through...tell us all in every detail what it says and then and only then should you comment on Facebook. I mean really, how the hell are you going to know what to write without Mumsnet opinions? Wink

You need to C&P it here so we can have a read through before we advise you.

it is actually illegal to post a reply without first consulting MN and telling us word for word what she/he posted. Wink

cobbledtogether · 11/01/2011 10:49

That's what I thought. Damn.

I must submit to the hive mind Grin

Haha! I just don't feel I'm capable of making my own response to random FB updates without consulting with the MN oracles first Grin

Laughing at something on your own is never as much fun.

cobbledtogether · 11/01/2011 11:05

Absolutely. I hope that my friends give the same consideration to my status updates. There are so many meanings behind "babyheave is pissed off".
