I'm blipping sick of it as well! Am 28 wks pg and a teacher - there are A and AS level exams coming up, coursework to be completed, marked and compiled etc etc! I really hope there is no more diruption causing snow. I hate it when media etc implies that its teachers' fault when school closes when in fact it is a HUGE inconvenience to us and our pupils and the LEA makes the final decisions. Will be giving all my sixth form students my 'work' email addresstomorrow, just in case! Flipping hate the snow!!!!

ItsMeYourCathy · 03/01/2011 17:11

Hate the stuff these days. Had enough of disruption already this winter.

Spent last week in Malta - now at airport with two hour delay - and it has been lovely and warm. I don't want to arrive home to cold and snow!

I'd never been so happy to see it pissing it down the other week. Have just watched the weather forecast, it says we are due some snow here in Warwickshire (lol just typed warwickshite by mistake.. Freudian maybe?)

bubblerock · 03/01/2011 20:24

It was bad before I started (riots etc..) then it was okay but I think it's gone downhill recently - I left in 94 though so it's been a while! Has the snow stopped? Dad won't be happy if it stays - he works at chelt gen, are you booked in there, my 2 were born there Grin

KangarooCaught · 03/01/2011 21:43

YANBU, but I love it - blow it this way please, past that MNer with the Warks spelling issue.

Ripeberry · 03/01/2011 21:46

Just north of Bristol here and we have an inch of the stuff. The kids (secondary) are supposed to go back to school tomorrow, but they probably will stay home now and spend all day throwing snowballs at people's windows Angry
That's what they did just before Xmas, but the snow was rubbish for snowballs then.

frozenfestiveflo · 03/01/2011 21:48

chickchick tell me does your name mean you are a keeper?

Only ask coz I am and my plants dont have chance to die as they get eaten! Snowing again here

pointydog · 03/01/2011 21:53

I didn't mind seeing the snow because it was clear it wasn't going to last. Was quite wintry. And better than drizzle, I find.
