... and completely subvert it??!! Looking round these boards we have a huge amount of wit, wisdom and intelligence, and could transform the DM, and by doing so, transform all those who believe its pronouncements to be akin to those sent down the mountain on Tablets of Stone.

bloody mail, just read today's, may as well all go out and kill ourselves. some days i like it but other times it really pisses me off. i am already worried about dd going back to school, the mail has to put its boot in and kick hard

SarahStrattonsBaubles · 03/01/2011 16:04

Stand up. Be proud woman. You are a Daily Fail Reader.

KindleTheSky · 03/01/2011 16:06

Brilliant idea we can have an AIBU section.

TheHeathenOfSuburbia · 03/01/2011 16:07

Would we keep the "Flimsy Excuse To Show Photos Of Women in Their Pants" article that appears every other day, though?
Cause if not, the male readership is going to melt away, they're not going to hang around for celebrity gossip and health scare stories...

fightingtheurgetoscream · 03/01/2011 16:09

The name will obviously have to change to The DMN Grin

MadameOvary · 03/01/2011 16:10

Naaah, then we'd have nothing to laugh at.
If Jan Moir didn't exist, the likes of Lucas and Walliams would have to make her up.

Magna · 03/01/2011 16:11

OK OK I admit it I read the DM.

SarahStrattonsBaubles · 03/01/2011 16:13

They won't Magna. You read it purely for Research. And to keep in touch with the bizarre scaremongering Fascist views. That is all Xmas Smile

Magna · 03/01/2011 16:21

Grin. If it wasn't for the DM I would never have found MN. It was a really nice article about all you wonderful MNers

dementedma · 03/01/2011 16:50

I read it often, along with other papers. Don't have to agree with it all but used to love the late, great Keith Waterhouse's articles and Quentin letts makes me laugh.
(if you're reading this Quentin, my condolences on your recent loss)

SarahStrattonsBaubles · 03/01/2011 16:59

I read it because it's still free online. I originally read it because it was one of the few I could navigate easily. Mostly I read it because it makes me laugh though.

alot of people hate the dm inc dh, he is such a snob he won't even have it in the shopping basket if i go shopping with him. there is a certain type of person who hates it and for the same reasons. i have my own reasons for likeing it, at the same time i have reasons for hating it too, i see it as a middle paper, higher up the brain chart compared to the red tops but for mortals such as myself with smaller brains than can read the 'large' table cloth size ones :)

earwicga · 03/01/2011 18:02
