To want to put dh in his own room instead of ds?

DS and I sleep fine together in the same room. He still wakes up a couple of times in the night but it's ok because his cot is right up against the side of my bed so I don't actually have to get out of bed. Wink

However, as soon as dh comes to bed he starts sniffing, scratching, coughing, blowing his nose, rustling the covers, plumping the pillows, turning over... so of course eventually he wakes ds up.

So when ds is six months old AIBU if I move dh into his own room instead? :o I don't think he'd like it much so it there a no cry sleep solution for men?

(Of course this has absolutely nothing to do with me not wanting to get out of bed in the middle of the night to sort ds out if he was in his own room.)

I love cuddling up in bed with my 2, now and again as a treat for us all. But I'd never kick DH out in order to sleep with my dc's every night.

They may be small but they do get around the bed with their little legs kicking me and laying on me and when they manage to lay on my hair. Ouch

Give me dh any day, I couldn't sleep with the kids every night.

Yadnbu my dh sleeps in the boys' room and this has been the case for nearly three months now. I have to admit that it's bliss, no hogging the duvet or snoring/ farting. I sleep with dd (cot next to the bed) and ds5 as he still wakes up wanting mummy! although he doesnt wake up when sleeping with me. I don't envisage dh and myself sharing a bed again for a wee while.
