Posted important-ish parcel on wed to the same county as im in, and it still hasnt been received today.

Sidge it actually states this on the recorded delivery label. Why on earth would the post office lady not know this. Its one of the first things PO staff are taught. maybe she needs re-training!

She asked me if the value of the contents was more than 41 pounds as if so it wouldn't be recompensed. I said no it was a 20 pound giftcard so she said that was ok.

On the RM website it says you can be recompensed for lost items with proof of purchase and posting - it makes no mention of vouchers not being covered. It does say though that valuable items should be sent by SD so I assume this to mean items of value more than 41 pounds.

They should make it clearer on the website I think. But then when RM is privatised it will all change anyway Grin
