Its the smugness I hate and the pressure for us peasants to have such a perfect and polished christmas.

This programme has aired for the first time in NZ - I enjoyed reading all things said 12 months in the UK - I'm a Grandmother so empathise with all the parents of 'ankle biters' trying hard to make Christmas memorable for their families and the house fabulous - in NZ it is SUMMER! So we are hilarious with our 'winter themed' decorations. BUT Phil and Kirsty here are a breath of fresh air and we take them for what they are - priviledged but not tacky! Agree that the cost of their decorations are 'over the top' but hey just think how smug we feel when we can 'do better for less' I think it is just a matter of sitting back and enjoying and taking the other option of the switch channel button. I have only found you guys as I was looking for the Cake recipe - does anyone have it!!!
