He is a Dirctor of the company and the other 2 Directors are married, I normally get on very well with them (or so i thought) and we often go out for a meal the four of us. The company has recently expanded and they have taken on 3 extra staff. 4 days ago my DP mentioned that the works Xmas meal was tonight and they were going straight from work but partners were not invited.
AIBU to be really peeed off with not being invited seeing as 1. He is a Director and 2. I thought the other 2 directors were my friends? Confused

My dh was invited to one by a different department from the one that he works in.

A couple of the people in this team are his friends, and through some pretty long lunches have become mine too.

I went with dh and had a great time, but maybe it was OK because dh was a guest as well.

But on the downside I think I made a tit out of myself.

Why don't you organise a school run/ playgroup Christmas dinner so you get to go out. Bit late now. Maybe next year. And if it's next year you could meet up with some of your friends from 400 miles away?

I still go to the Christmas dinners from my old work and the one before.

God I'm a blagger or something.

I will be making my own Christmas dinner on the 25th though.

Christmas dinner is being made by MIL this year Wink
Now I'm blagging! Doing a Christmas party/meal next year with playgroup friends is a good idea, thank you Mypombearisveryold :)
