Really can't decide what to do.

Don't have a car atm.

Dd1, dd2 are off school today with a vomiting bug.
Dd4 has a chesty cold and fever.
Friend is collecting dd3 for me today.
Tomorrow is last day, so a fun-day and they finish at 2.
I am 38 weeks pregnant
Dh will be at work.

Wwyd?

Oh heck ?? Whatever you have to do to get through.Xmas Smile

I'd keep her off, unless there's a friend who can easily do the pick-ups/drop-offs for you. She's not going to miss much and, let's face it, she's probably incubating either the vomiting bug or the cold anyway, so you're doing everyone else a favour Grin (Job's Little Comforter here..........)

she had the vomiting bug last week.

Keep her off. That's what I'd do. all the other parent's will thank you for it when their children aren't either spewing or coughing.

FairyTaleOfNewYork · 16/12/2010 11:04

thanks.

dd4 isnt in school as she is only 2yrs old, but is dosed on calpol, neurofen and double-dose inhalers atm in a vain attempt to keep her out of hospital (she is asthmatic and goes really quickly downhill), so if i can keep her in tomorrow i will, or will wrap her up warm and snug under the raincover.

dd1+2 arent going anywhere. its been a vomit-sesh here this morning.

Def keep her off. Last day of term will be fun for her I expect, but so will a day at home with you.

If I wake up tomorrow and it's snowing I will be soooo happy - no snow at all yet this year!

IfYouCouldWouldYou · 16/12/2010 12:53

keep her off, school wont miss her too much, as they won't actually be doing any work.

I kept DC's off the last day before christmas break last year.....simply because it was snowing!!

I gave them a snow day as they weren't doing anything important at school anyway.
Turns out schools shut 2 hour after opening and i suspect alot of kids never showed.

DS (14) had his last day today and is still in bed, he said he didn't feel well

Other DS (12) tried to feign illness this morning but i made him go as he doesn't finish until tomorrow

DD was reluctant to get out of bed this morning and told me she didn't want to go but made her go as she promised to take in a christmas dvd in for the rest of the class to watch.

I suspect that with all of them they are exhausted and have just had enough. DS 2 isn't going tomorrow as he was gutted that his brother and sister would be at home.

I dont think it really matters TBH.

Sounds like a duvet & dvd day-for everyone!

Soups · 16/12/2010 13:08

Keep her off :)
