eatyourveg · 15/12/2010 20:37

Colin Firth, Rupert Penry-Jones and Matthew MacFadden

I happen to have a theory that pregnancy makes you go totally insane regarding who is a dish and who isn't a dish. Whilst pregnant with ds1 I had a massive crush on Nicholas Witchell and with ds2 it was Eammon Holmes. Can't remember who I was madly in love with during ds3 pregnancy.

ant3nna · 15/12/2010 20:48

Robert Downey Jr
Bradley Cooper
Rufus Sewell (especially in that BBC Taming of the Shrew remake he did where he wore womens clothes a lot)
Ben Daniels but only in Law and Order:UK - he can cross examine me any time
Jamie Bamber

Most shamefully, Professor Green after seeing a BBC Breakfast interview where he appeared like a thoroughly nice bloke. I think he must appeal to my mothering instinct.

LittlebearH · 15/12/2010 20:52

Peter Jones (Dragon's Den)
Michael Buble
Kelly Jones (Stereophonics)
Freddie Flintoff (Looks like my DP)
Robbie Williams (until he opens his mouth)

Others I wouldn't say no to who have been mentioned...

Robert Downey Jnr
Dan Lobb
Rupert Penry Jones

snicklesneeze · 15/12/2010 20:54

begonyabampot · 15/12/2010 20:55

loved Mel Gibson when he was younger (Year of Living Dangerously, Road Warrior) - was the most beautiful man ever in his prime .

Had a weird thing for Nigel Terry when he played Arthur in Excalibur.

InWithTheITCrowd · 15/12/2010 20:58

'twas in the 80s. Not v sordid at all, really - it was a group outing, and just sort of ended up with him at the end of the evening. Talking late into the night, a couple of quite chaste kisses, a fond "adieu" and never saw him again...
Missed opportunities.

He was in his late 20s at the time.

CaveMum · 15/12/2010 21:31

IWTIC - still, it's an impressive story to be able to tell! Say, you're not the girl he referred to in the recent Fry & Laurie documentary?! You know, the one he said he made laugh in a bar and who told him he should try comedy?!

Trebuchet · 15/12/2010 21:32

Nerdyface who was she in Firefly?

Merlotmonster · 15/12/2010 21:40

leonardo di caprio............mesmerising.... hmmmmmmmmmm

begonyabampot · 15/12/2010 21:52

never liked De Caprio - saw him recently in Blood Diamond and for the first time I thought - helloooo! Might have been the accent 'Bling Bang!'.

CaveMum · 15/12/2010 22:02

Oh definitely yes to Mr Di Caprio. I'm watching Catch Me If You Can as we speak [wipes drool from chin]

ProcessYellowC · 15/12/2010 22:17

Noel Fielding
Paul Rudd (thanks HarleyQuin)
John Cusack
Nick Moran
Daddy G and 3D

I don't really letch after him, but would love to go on a date with Ian Hislop.

Am finding Assange somewhat compelling.

CheerfulYank · 15/12/2010 23:02

IWTIC you didn't. Did you?! You kissed Hugh Laurie?!

HarleyQuinn · 15/12/2010 23:38

ProcessYellowC - you welcome! just enjoying the google images of him as we speak Wink

Inertia · 16/12/2010 00:08

Brian Cox (makes me all melty. I think you'll find that's proper scientific terminology.)
Rob Lowe (but only in the West Wing)
Dermot O'Leary
Nigel Clough
Rupert Penry-Jones (he's just so beautiful!)
Mark off Sam'n'Mark children's telly
Gideon Coe

taylor lautner (though I am old enough to be his mum)
steve buscemi
sam rockwell
viggo mortensen

anonymosity · 16/12/2010 01:51

forgot - totally agree about Bradley Cooper. Completely sexy (and odd).

Thruaglassdarkly · 16/12/2010 01:51

Ralph Fiennes - loved him for years and years and think he'd be a good shag, but a bit boring. Can imagine him getting Proust out and wanting to discuss it afterwards.
Ryan Reynolds - yum, but not for his brains.
David Beckham if he never EVER spoke.

NOT Brad Pitt EVER nor Robby Williams (extrapolate the rest of Take That onto that statement also). Not ever, ever, even if they were the last men on Earth. I know that in some cicles that might make me certifiable, but yuck and no thanks.

Thruaglassdarkly · 16/12/2010 01:53

Err Bree's boyfriend's dad is better IMHO. Her boyfriend's eyes are too far apart.
