Went out for 1 hr arrived home to find my house resembling a building site.
I asked Dad and DP to do the few jobs left needing to be done I meant the washing up and a put stuff away not put up a new extractor unit for the cooker, not drill an outlet pipe for said unit, not lift and take out the sitting room wooden floor, I know it was warped but it would have been ok until after Christmas. They are great at starting a job and never finishing it.

Homicide and a twin grave under the patio - there isn't a jury that would convict!!

Or tell them that all the christmas festivities will be funded by them and hosted by the finest local hotel, unless it is all done and cleaned up by Christmas Eve. And point out that them as makes the mess can clean it up too!

and apparently both hoovers are broken, so they have either blown a fuse/clogged both with dust and not emptied them or more likely is that they don't know how to use them.
