Regrets... I've had a Few....

Well I've got a few that are worth mentioning.

Xmas/New Year brings into focus relationships, stress, no sun light, awful weather etc. etc.

I'll start....

I wish I'd taken the opportunity to thwack a nun (teacher) at the age of 16, when I had the chance.

Long time ago now, 30 odd years.

I wish I hadn't slept around quite so much in my late teens and early 20s.

I wish I had met my DH when we were both a little younger and had children a little earlier (woudn't change the DC we do have for the world though).

I wish that when I called my father back after he phoned me I had actually managed to speak to him. I should have made more effort to speak to him.

Woh. Lots of mentions of mums and dads. If I had any left I'd be phoning them tomorrow.

I regret not having the guts to have told someone what I truly felt for them when I had the opportunity, rather then skirt around the issue because I though he might not have felt the same.

I regret taking up smoking when I was 18

I regret eating all that tasty junk food after I had lost 3 stone in weight which meant putting it all back on again

I regret not shagging Brad Pitt when I had the chance....... ok that was a lie

He's a crap shag anyway.
