AIBU to think it's ridiculous to allow comments on articles on NHS choices website?

The NHS choices website allows "comments" Hmm.

So the page I've linked to someone is querying part of the advice and claiming that it must be wrong.

I have tried to comment but my post has not appeared. I have also reported the comment so that hopefully it will be removed.

The idea of being able to send a comment to the website is a good idea so they can udate/amend information - but just so random inaccurate info can sit there?

The page is on the preparation of formula and mentions boiling water and leaving it for 30 mins and the comment says surely that should say 3 mins.

Nope it's 30 mins so the water is 70 degrees C which is a temp which will kill bacteria in the unsterile formula powder.

Hotter than this may cause a loss of nutrients.

yanbu it seems a stupid idea to have the comments on it @ all

not too bad if there's a proper disclaimer, is there?
Actually I might use it to add a comment to the bit I read when I worried I had obstetric cholestasis which told me it was nothing to worry about and just to treat the symptoms Hmm
