Am I being oh so mean to not allow my husband and DS (8 and 9) to sleep out in an igloo they have spent the day building
. Has any one else done this? Will they lose their fingers to frostbite? help I need to make a decision soon!

Good lord - you mean they managed to stay out there all night?? Am very impressed! Were they soaked through in the morning?

thumbplumbpuddingwitch they were bone dry and as warm as toast when they came in. DH, who had the thinnest sleeping bag, was pleasantly surprised by how warm it was. They had about 9 karrimats and a blanket between them and the ground and they each had proper down winter sleeping bags. They have finally gone back to school today and cant wait to tell the story!
