To be totally baffled by the way this girl smells?

We work in an open plan office and this girl sits on the desk near to me. I've noticed she has this really unique, bizarre smell like a damp, mildewy basement. But it's not just badly dried clothes smell because it's too consistent iyswim. It's like it's coming from her.

I honestly cannot describe it. I also cannot imagine how someone naturally comes to smell like that. It's not even unpleasant like BO, it's just so distinctive. I can tell from the moment I walk through the front door whether she's in the office or not. Also, in the loos I can tell if she's recently been in the cubicle I'm using.

Anyone else come across a colleague or friend with a really distinctive personal smell? I wonder if other people find my natural odour as pungent?!

Maybe she smokes a distictive smelling weed?

Or her car smells mouldy so doesn't matter what she wears.

I've had to tell employees they smell over the years - Cruel to be kind!

i used to work with someone who smelt of wet dog, i had to try not to breathe in whenever she stood next to me,
once i had a training session and i was sat next to a woman who had what i can only describe as poo breath she also sat far too close to me literally on my knee
