..to wish the rude cow in our office would spend less time on MN and more time doing a spot of work?

...am just hoping she will read this, actually.

Silly rude cow.

I must admit, dear friends - I was quite surprised to see her posting here. She doesn't seem quite middle class enough.

And no - I'm not pleasant to work with at all. If I was a permanent member of staff here, instead of a consultant - I'd have whipped her to one side quicker than you can say 'Waitrose'. As it is, I should try not to let it get to me so much.

Can't seem to help wanting to smack her face though.

Phew, thought the Bear had gone.

KaraStarbuckThrace · 26/11/2010 14:42

'She doesn't seem quite middle class enough.'

I wasn't aware this was a criteria for being on MN Hmm

TheCrackFox · 26/11/2010 14:43

Is consultant not a just a posh word for overpaid temp?

ArfurSleep · 26/11/2010 14:43

oooh you are a consultant

NOT

AgentZigzag · 26/11/2010 14:45

Even though I said what I did in my post, I can understand how bad it is to be trapped in a confined space with people you'd have nothing whatsoever to do with in any other area of your life, and it can lead to murderous emotions.

Do you use MN normally then? Or is this the first time you've been on?

MaryPoop · 26/11/2010 14:46

Spot on TheCrackFox, I am incredibly overpaid. Thank goodness.

TheCrackFox · 26/11/2010 14:47

Get off Mumsnet and start earning your pay packet then.

Quenelle · 26/11/2010 14:47

Whoops busted! Blush

prettyfly1 · 26/11/2010 14:47

HAHAHHAH - is there a pombear icon - I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO DO IT....

Also - Mary you sound a delight. Really. A gem. Now have a Biscuit dear and leave the contractor alone.

TrillianAstra · 26/11/2010 14:50

I MN at work. Probably quite a lot. But I don't think anyone sees, and they certainly don't give the impression that they think I am not productive enough. (I am very productive, I promise)

I feel a brief brain-break is good for my productivity.

Quenelle · 26/11/2010 14:50

Oh. I thought the OP was a joke Blush

MaryPoop · 26/11/2010 14:51

Hi AgentZigzag.

I do feel a bit mean for posting all that stuff, really. I have posted on here once or twice, so I recognised the screens when I would turn around and see her hammering away.

I've become friendly with the permie staff here, and am really fed up of watching senior management ignore this girl causing extra work for other, much lower paid, permanent resources, and get away with absolute murder. I think I could tolerate it slightly more if she weren't so incredibly rude, to boot.

I am more senior than her, but she is nothing to do with what I am here to do, so I should of course, ignore it. I should also stop posting here and do some work. Grin

Perhaps it's addictive, this posting business.

Its not me, but do you have to haves bosses permission to use comp for personal reasons?

BaroqinAroundTheChristmasTree · 26/11/2010 15:04

Mary will you get off MN and get back on with our work PLEASE

ShirleyKnot · 26/11/2010 15:04

permie staff

making love

echt · 26/11/2010 15:05

MN is banned by the filters at my place. Probably a good thing. :)

MaryPoop · 26/11/2010 15:08

GabbyLogon - I am using my own laptop - she's not. Personal use isn't banned, I don't think. Most places allow reasonable personal use.

TrillianAstra · 26/11/2010 15:09

does this help?

surfandturf · 26/11/2010 15:10

2 words - Pot and kettle Hmm

TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 26/11/2010 15:13

I work from home so it's not me. And threads like this and the 'smelly colleague' one make me glad that I do.

Floopy21 · 26/11/2010 15:27

aDarkStarWithStrangeWays · 26/11/2010 15:31

If this had been posted yesterday, I'd be worried.

BelleMama · 26/11/2010 15:36
