i know what you mean, i was wracked with guilt because i didn't laff out loud at a v funny joke someone made about a cube dropping on a fox (because i had to answer the phone) and had to go back and check that the joke had not gone un-recognised. thankfully it hadn't.

listen, i've been here a long time (ish) and i write that roundup etc for MN, so i think i am fairly well-known on here. but i experience the same thing... i think it's more likely that people just aren't reading the whole thread. (plus, it's not a bundle of laughs being reasonably well-known, it presses all sorts of buttons in people tbh, and they do rather forget that you are just another bored mum in a house, sitting in front of a keyboard. thank god i have my spreadsheet. ).
