To contemplate living without a tumble dryer?

My washer/dryer has conked out and I'm thinking of replacing it with just a washing machine. I don't really have the space for a seperate tumble dryer but am I mad to consider not having one?

sidge sorry I didn't see your earlier post, very tactless of me and I withdraw my thoughtless comment.

Fib - sorry if I have upset you in any way, I just found the way you wrote it very 'I'm the only one thinking of the poor children' and you aren't. You are doing a lot to reduce your carbon footprint and it's admirable - but it doesn't mean you are the only one doing so and to assume you are is a tad arrogant.

Yes, as I said on my previous post she is incontinent. Her night time nappies often leak so on average I have to wash her bedding about 4 nights of the week. Sometimes every night, sometimes only a few nights.

Cross posted! That's ok, but now you can see that it's not black and white for many of us. Sometimes morals and ideals have to take a back seat to realism Grin
