to think that it is a complete breach of confidentiality to text me with details of DH's hotel that he is staying in tonight?

I received a text this morning from a well-known cheap hotel chain about 'my stay' tonight. It was actually DH who is staying there and he booked it himself, using his own mobile phone number (not mine) via Late Rooms (not even through the hotel website) and somewhere, somehow, I assume his booking has been connected to my details which are held on their database from previous stays (because we share the same name/address??) and they have sent the text to me!

I am really annoyed as I think it is completely wrong - it could have dropped DH in it totally Grin As it is, I obviously knew where he was going/staying but that isn't the point is it?

I am guessing it is worth a complaint for the possibility of a freebie
