To be a bit peed off with UCAS

charging £21 for my daughter to apply online for her University choices next year? I know in the grand scheme of things, and given that she will be paying £3,290 for tuition fees, it doesn't seem much, but why charge students for appyling? It's all done online now so not exactly a lot of admin involved.

YABU
There certainly is admin involved and someone has to pay for it.

For goodness sake, who do you think SHOULD pay?

Bonsoir · 18/11/2010 09:24

FGS, £21 is nothing in the big scheme of things! UCAS is a mega-efficient system - be grateful for it.

UCAS has charged for years. I applied to uni back in 2003 and they were charging £15 then, although that was when it was all done on paper.

YABU, sorry to tell you.

YABU, if you want something you have to pay for it. That's grown up life.
